Samuel Thornton Jagger (1904–1964), a Welsh first-class cricketer who played on more than 40 occasions between the wars. He was later a housemaster at Lancing College. This lineup of the Welsh Cygnets was ready for a match with New Zealand, in 1927.

Note: A thorough attempt has been made to establish the identity of the photographer, via libraries, archives, books, magazines, collections, the internet etc., but none was found.
