Coontey
English: Flowering Water Crowfoot (presumably Ranunculus fluitans) on the Derry River in Clonegal, Ireland. Here, the Derry River forms the border between County Wexford (far side) and County Carlow, It joins the hamlet of Watch House Village, County Wexford to the village of Clonegal in County Carlow. This picture in May 2007 followed a prolonged dryish period and we were about to have the three very wet summers and autumns of 2007–2009. I wonder if the riverine vegetation has survived? A quick look on 24th May 2010 should tell. Check it out!
