Resooney:Gospel of Matthew

Ass Wikipedia.

Hmm! I'm not entirely sure an article such as this should be in the Manx Wikipedia. This is a quotation from the Bible and not an article. Pajer y Çhiarn is acceptable as it is used as a comparitive tool between languages. IMHO the Gospel of Matthew should not be here. Otherwise, for the sake of equality and fairness, we will need to put up sections translated from the Qur'an, the Torah etc. If you wish to enter an article describing (i.e. date written, language of first composition and translations thereafter, interpretations etc.) the Gospel of Matthew with a link to Christian Israel where the information was obviously copied, I would have no problem with that (c.f. en:Gospel of Matthew). What does everyone else think? --MacTire02 15:08, 18 Jerrey Souree 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I agree. This article should be encyclopaedic, not simply duplicate material from the Gospel. There is a strong contrast between this and the English article, which is linked in the sidebar. -- Shimmin Beg 15:36, 18 Jerrey Souree 2008 (UTC)[reply]
